Usecases can vary based on requirement, but a professional might rather save notes from reading directly into Spaced (using, for example, the iOS share extension functionality to share text to Spaced without leaving the app) and thereafter have optimized, scheduled reviews of those notes, than save into some other note taking software that will require formatting, organization etc.

Likewise, a student might keep Spaced open on their desktop while making their way through a textbook and sharing highlights with Spaced, before adding memory aids to that information through the Learn page.

The Enhance with AI quick add feature makes getting cards into Spaced even easier, and is great for quick, on-the-go type additions, for example, one might just type "Ortolan traditions" into the text box, click "Enhance with AI" and then submit once the text has been added to.

Spaced was designed from the ground up, to be as simple and unobtrusive as possible.
1. Add cards either on the home page by typing text into the add card box, or by using AI to expand on a topic you've entered here. Also add cards through the sharing option in iOS from another app. Questions don't have to be manually generated!
2. Then, the card will show up in the Learn page (second tab), which is the "inbox" of Spaced, where you can generate memory aids and memorable images and link them to the card.
3. Click Review on the Learn page to start scheduling questions (this setting can be changed so that cards go directly to Review)
4. Go to the Review page and self-rate the cards that are due based on the AI generated questions, and we'll ensure the next question is scheduled optimally, ensuring long term retention. Choosing 1 sends it back to the learn page, while 2 will reset the scheduling so you are asked about it tomorrow, and 5 means you remembered it very well.
